GISELLE G. STROMGREN

Giselle G. Stromgren serves as a tax accountant for Watkins and Company CPAs. In this position, Giselle’s responsibilities include preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corporations and other entities; tax planning and projection; and bookkeeping assistance.

Practice Areas

Giselle has 5 years previous tax experience in public accounting and has worked for 4 years as a sales and use tax accountant for a well-known luxury retailer, in addition her to many years of bookkeeping experience. Before joining Watkins and Company in April 2022, she spent 7 years serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Central Mississippi Realtors, Inc. in Ridgeland, MS where she was responsible for all accounting functions, generating financial statements and preparing the annual budget.

Ms. Stromgren graduated from University of Nevada in Las Vegas, NV and holds a degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. Giselle is a licensed CPA in the state of Mississippi and she is an active member of AICPA, MSCPA and Central Chapter MSCPA.

Giselle is a native Jacksonian, and has lived in Savannah, GA, Olympia, WA, and Las Vegas, NV before returning to Jackson in 2005. She lives in a hundred-year-old house in Jackson with her son, Sawyer, basset hound Lucy, and cats Edwin, Luna, and Zelda. In her free time Giselle enjoys knitting, working on her house and cars, collecting vintage sewing machines and cameras, and hiking and camping with family and friends.
