RENEE NEWBORNE

Renee Newborne joined Watkins and Company CPAs in the spring of 2022 as a staff accountant. Her duties include various accounting and tax services for individual and business clients of Watkins and Company CPAs.

Practice Areas

Prior to joining Watkins and Company, Renee worked a tax season at Horne in their construction department and almost 3 years at the Department of Revenue as a sales tax auditor. She also has several years working as a bookkeeper for a couple of small businesses.

Mrs. Newborne obtained her Bachelor’s degree of Applied Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2018. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Accounting and studying for the CPA exam.

Renee is from the Jackson metro area. She currently resides in Madison, MS with her husband, their three sons, Daylen, Ryland and their newest addition, Nolan, and pitbull Turner. When Renee is not at work, she enjoys attending Pinelake Church in Madison with her family and a variety of sports activities with her sons.
