JAMES HENLEY, JR.

Jay Henley serves as tax CPA for Watkins and Company CPAs.  As tax CPA, Jay’s responsibilities include preparation, review of business and individual tax returns, and tax planning for clients.

Practice Areas

Jay has worked in public accounting for 10 years. Prior to joining Watkins and Company, he most recently he worked as audit and tax manager for a local CPA firm in Madison, MS. 

Jay graduated from Ole Miss in Oxford, MS and holds a degree in Marketing.   He later attended Mississippi College in Clinton, MS where he earned a certificate in accounting.  Jay is a licensed CPA in the state of Mississippi and he is an active member of MSCPA and AICPA.

Jay was born in Jackson, MS and grew up in Copiah County.  He has resided in Madison, MS since 2012.  Jay lives with his wife Keri and twin sons Noah and Jackson.  When Jay is not working he enjoys golf, hunting, and spending weekends in Oxford in the fall for SEC football.
